TRISTRAM TECH TIP / Sterndrive Flushing

Flushing your sterndrive engine is vital for engine longevity and to preserve internal components of your engine. Use the flush fitting on your sterndrive to flush out saltwater deposits after each use. The engine should be run for at least 10 minutes to ensure fresh water has made its way through the system. If you have noticed any cooling issues or have any other questions about your sterndrive engine, contact the Tristram Service Centre today.
