Battery Isolating switches are fitted for your safety and to control battery charging and current draw circuits. The start isolator controls the engine and capstan circuits while the house isolator switches on all dash electronics. Flushing your sterndrive engine is vital for engine longevity and to preserve internal components of your engine. Use the flush fitting on your sterndrive to flush out saltwater deposits after each use. The engine should be run for at least 10 minutes to ensure fresh water has made its way through the system.
