Tristram 701 Offshore ‘Serenity Now’

Serenity Now was recently completed and transported to Central Otago ready to immerse it’s first-time Tristram Owners in the tranquility of Lake Wanaka. Built alongside and delivered in tandem with a friend’s 691 Millennium M2, these two brand new Tristram’s were designed and optioned for overnighting, entertaining, fishing and watersports from Glendhu to Minaret Bay and beyond.

Tristram 641 Offshore

Team Tristram recently completed and handed over this brand new Tristram 641 Offshore which is destined for the crystal, turquoise waters of Taupo. Towering cliffs and secluded beaches will be the backdrop for the V8-powered machine which is designed to get their hearts racing, take them to places of Zen, and everything in between.

Tristram 690 Cabriolet ‘ACE’

Ready to show off amidst the spectacular alpine backdrop of Lake Wānaka, ‘Ace’ is rigged for watersports, fishing and entertaining – a game changing crossover for her new owners. Ace will get up and fly with a Mercury 250hp V8 Verado with a 2023 Mercury engine control upgrade, Fusion on-board entertainment with Bluetooth, Simrad Go9, an XAir forward-facing folding tower and bimini top and XAir board racks both featuring the popular Mannex black upgrade, an upgraded black windscreen and a black metallic vinyl wrap.

Positivity & New Orders at Auckland Boat Show

Boat Shows come and go very quickly for Team Tristram, but what doesn’t, are the positive vibes we leave with after meeting with current and future Tristram owners. We enjoyed four incredible days of meeting new families, hearing on-water stories from our owners, supplier catch ups, development of new initiatives, and a huge amount of positivity towards boating in general. With a number of additional Tristram orders being taken, our team have returned supercharged to take the Tristram brand to new and even more exciting heights. We’re ready to ‘venture beyond’.

Tristram 821 Offshore ‘Simply Magic’

Destined to drop jaws in Simpson’s Beach and capture the attention of boaties in the bay is ‘Simply Magic’. Simply Magic and her crew are lucky to have the idyllic Mercury Islands in their backyard, and now, their dream vessel to get there. A picnic alongside Great Mercury Island’s grandeur white cliffs, a spot of fishing in the shallows off Blackjack reef, or a sun-drenched cruise South to the Hahei coast, Mahurangi Island, and Orua sea cave. Simply Magic’s owners love their South Island based Tristram so much, they had to get another for their Northern escape! At the helm Simply Magic’s Skipper will enjoy Mercury Skyhook with Joystick Piloting, as well as Simrad Komodo’s digital glass helm. Navigation has never been easier! Simply Magic also features class-leading 2.78m beam, underfloor rod storage, a 70L live bait tank, pull-out 72L ice box, galley with fridge and cooker, plus a large comfortable overnighting cabin for long-range extended adventures.

TRISTRAM TECH TIP / Capstan Care

It’s important to periodically check the condition of your capstan as well as your warp and chain for signs of deterioration. Be sure to examine your capstan’s motor and terminals. If there is any sign of corrosion or you’ve noticed changes in your capstan’s performance, contact the Tristram Service Centre team for advice. If your warp is in good condition but is slipping in the capstan when launching or retrieving, try tightening your capstan clutch with the provided tool, or schedule a booking with the Tristram Technicians to have your capstan serviced.

Test driving Mercury’s All New V10 Outboards in Miami, FL

Last week Kingsley and Tristram accompanied Mercury Marine to experience the all new V10 Verado® outboard line up at the Miami International Boat Show. Available in 350hp and 400hp, this new 5.7L naturally aspirated outboard delivers extraordinary power for offshore adventures. In true Verado form, the new engine is unbelievably smooth, quiet, and refined.
