We are looking for an experienced Marine Upholsterer to join our talented team and help craft the finishing touches that set our boats apart.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position within our production team, responsible for manufacturing and installing premium-quality marine upholstery for new Tristram boats. You’ll work with high-grade materials, create bespoke designs, and deliver finishes that meet the highest luxury and durability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and install marine upholstery to precise specifications
- Cut, sew, and fit vinyls, fabrics, foams, and other marine-grade materials
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure projects are completed to schedule
- Deliver consistently high-quality workmanship to Tristram Marine standard
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in upholstery – marine, automotive, or furniture
- High attention to detail and pride in your craft
- Ability to work from templates, patterns, and drawings
- Skilled in the use of sewing machines, hand tools, and cutting equipment
- Positive, reliable, and able to work well within a team environment
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
