Tristram Marine Announces New Service Centre Leadership Team

Tristram Marine are very proud to announce the promotions of Kris Williamson as our Service Manager and Mathew Barlow as our Technical Manager. Combined, Kris and Mathew have close to 35 years of experience as integral team members in Tristram Marine’s Service Centre.

With the appointments of Kris and Mathew, we also celebrate 26 years of exceptional service from our esteemed Service Manager, Warwick Pilcher. We farewell him as he moves on to his new venture as a Maritime Officer for the Waikato Region. Warwick has been unanimously recognised by Tristram Owners, Suppliers, and the Marine Industry as ‘one of the best’ and has been fundamental to sustaining Tristram Marine as an industry leader. Warwick will remain a key member of the Tristram Family as a 701 Offshore owner and ‘friend’ to our network of more than 20,000 followers, owners, suppliers, and team members. We wish him every success and thank him for his tenure.

For Service Centre customers and Tristram owners who have not yet met Kris Williamson or Mathew Barlow, we look forward to introducing them to you over the coming weeks and months. Their phenomenal skill sets, love for boating, and exceptional customer-focused priorities will be very much enjoyed by the wider Tristram network, ensuring the ‘Tristram Experience’ remains unrivalled.



Your engine oil has been working hard to suspend and carry away debris and potential corrosives resulting from the combustion process while you’ve been boating over summer. Don’t wait for spring to have your oil and filters replaced. Tristram Marine can replace these during your service before you lay up for winter storage.


During your service our team can retrofit a number of accessories to your boat. New electronics, SeaDek flooring, underwater lights, deck wash hoses and live bait tanks are just a handful of useful accessories our customers have added to their boats to enhance their on-water experiences.


Our dedicated team offer detailing, buffing and grooming services for your boat. Damaged graphics? Sun damaged gelcoat? We can remedy these areas requiring attention. Please let us know what services you require when you make your service booking!


If you’d like a one-day turnaround you are welcome to take one of our hot desks for the day while you wait for your service to be completed. We have regular service clients that travel from as far north as Whangarei and as far south as Palmerston North for our team’s phenomenal approach to customer care. If you’re leaving your boat with us, 24/7 access is also available if you are unable to drop off or collect your boat during business hours.
