We enjoyed welcoming these loyal and fanatical Tristram enthusiasts to meet with our R&D team to ensure the new models design elements met their requirements for fishing on Taupo, while balancing the offshore features that were crucially and equally as important to our ocean-based buyers.

Double Strike is the first Tristram to feature Simrad’s all new NSX Ultrawide display. This streamlined unit fitted perfectly into the dash of the 691 Offshore and provided residual space to carefully place the array of Mercury gauges that were specified by the owners.
A Mercury console mounted binnacle control is fitted into Double Strike’s ergonomically designed moulded pocket. Lateral space is created by the pocket, enhancing the overall feel onboard, and a moulded armrest provides the seated skipper with comfort while underway.
