Introducing WHITE NOISE, a new Tristram 821 Offshore recently handed over to her Auckland-based owners. Powered by Yamaha’s 450hp 5.6L V8 with Helm Master® EX, WHITE NOISE has been built for fishing, exploring and spending more time offshore, bringing together the capability, space and comfort of Tristram’s flagship trailer boat.
The onboard specification is extensive. A Simrad Komodo by Tristram system with SS164 1kW through-hull transducer is joined by FLIR thermal imaging, Lenco Pro automatic trim tabs, solar charging, interior heating, hot water, drawer fridge and enclosed wheelhouse canvas and clears.
For fishing, there’s a 70L livebait tank with a newly-designed 85L slide-out fish bin beneath, extensive rod storage, insulated catch bag, saltwater deckwash and overboard handwash valves — a considered setup for making the most of days offshore.
The APEX specification gives WHITE NOISE her distinctive finish, with APEX woven-texture performance upholstery, flooring, steering wheel, rocket launcher, graphics and switch panel throughout. APEX ‘Vibe’ hardtop lighting and illuminated rod lockers add to the detailing, alongside a black windscreen and APEX-patterned SeaDek extending through the cockpit, between the seats and across the boarding platform.
