After a quick flight north to Tristram HQ, the owner of this brand new Tristram 821 Offshore enjoyed an on-water handover of his new machine ‘Sounds Time’ this week, before it made its journey south to its home in the Marlborough Sounds. This incredible package was optioned by its owner with state-of-the-art electronics including the Simrad Komodo Glass Helm, Autopilot, HALO Radar and FLIR Thermal Imaging Camera for night vision through Marlborough’s labyrinth of natural inlets. Absolute magic.
Sounds Time’s CAD designed and CNC moulded cockpit is geared up and ready for serious offshore fishing adventures with a 70L live bait tank, SeaDek flooring, underfloor rod storage compartments, seal-free moulded boarding platform to keep the engine bay dry and, of course, Mercury’s mighty 270hp 3.0 V6 Diesel powerplant. Smooth, efficient, and loaded with torque.
Industry-leading naval architectural innovation and cutting-edge precision were pinnacle priorities during the Tristram 821 Offshores inception. As a result, a dry, silky smooth and unbelievably stable ride are just some of the key performance features the owner of ‘Sounds Time’ will enjoy as he and his family embark on his offshore adventures through the Marlborough Sounds to the Cook Strait and beyond.
